Wedding Cake Prices
According to custom:
"The wedding cake should be made with an abundance of good quality ingredients to symbolize a long-lasting, rich, and happy marriage. The bride cuts the first slice of cake to provide good fortune in the marriage. Nowadays, her groom helps in this task, to ensure that he shares the good fortune. And then the cake is shared with their guests for blessing and happiness.”
"The ceremony is the first joint action of the new Bride & Groom and everyone gathers round to witness this moment"
My pricing reflects the time and attention I take to create a truly special and unique centre piece for your wedding day…each cake is lovingly baked and created from high quality ingredients including free range eggs and buttercream made from real butter - all this to ensure that your cake tastes as good as it looks. Each design is tailored to suit your exact requirements and so an individual price needs to be given. As a guide for budgeting, most of my wedding cakes fall within the range of £90-£150 per tier. I would be very happy to provide you with a no obligation quotation - please call or email me and we can discuss the details. Also you would be welcome to come, discuss ideas and taste some cake while you're here. Please contact me to arrange.
Party Cake Prices:
Party cake prices start from £50.
Booking, Deposit and Payment:
Dates in wedding season go fast so it's always advisable to book early…I ask for a deposit of around a third to secure the date in my diary. The balance can either be paid by online bank transfer 1-2 weeks prior to your event or you can pay cash up to the day before.
For portion sizing there are 2 regarded sizes: Coffee sized and Dessert sized. Coffee is 1" x 1" x 3" depth of cake. Dessert is 2" x 1" x 3" depth of cake.
